The aim of this project was to rehabilitate waste removal, water distribution, and water sanitation systems in Mukalla to allow these services to recover from the impact of war. Key activities and improvements include the rehabilitation of 12 public toilets to provide sanitation to 250,000 people. The rehabilitation of the Al-Ghweisi sewer further benefitted 11,600 people and allowed for safer waste disposal.
