It was estimated 17.8 million Yemenis were in need of humanitarian assistance to provide safe sources of water and environmental sanitation, including 12.6 million people in urgent need of intensive support. Owing to this initiative, 30,000 beneficiaries in the city of Dhamar were provided water supplies through the rehabilitation of water sources and better quality control of existing water sources. Additionally environmental sanitation awareness was promoted.
