It was estimated 17.8 million Yemenis were in need of humanitarian assistance to provide safe sources of water and environmental sanitation, including 12.6 million people in urgent need of intensive support. Through this fund 40,000 people received assistance in the form of water supplies, water sanitisation tools and water hygiene education, whilst incorporating the implementation of community supported clean up campaigns and environmental awareness activities.
