This initiative involved investments to fund 10 sanitation projects that addressed the damage to sewage systems caused by the war and the purification of 7 wells to increase the city's supply of safe drinking water. As part of the initiative, water production was increased whilst staff of the Public Authority for Water and Sanitation were trained, in addition to the restoration of 11 health centres.
