The project objectives of the Taiz Municipal Development and Flood Protection Project for the Republic of Yemen are to protect city residents, businesses, and infrastructure from seasonal destructive flash flooding in the City of Taiz. The initiative has contributed to the provision of flood damage protection infrastructure, capacity-building for local councils and project management activities, which included provision for monitoring and compliance to an environmental management plan.
