The project aimed at improving the city's water and wastewater networks in partnership with the Yemeni government. It included the construction of water reservoirs with a capacity of 1000m3 and a distribution pipeline of diameter 300mm and length 3km, water networks and pipes of varying dimensions to better connect the different parts of the city, and the construction of sewers for transportation of waste to processing centres to curb pollution.
