The project aimed to carry out an update of GHG inventory, update of GHG abatement analysis, vulnerability assessment and adaptation analysis for agriculture, water resources and for coastal zones. National Communications enhanced awareness raising about climate change in Yemen. They provided a source of knowledge on Yemen’s emissions across sectors, outlining vulnerability to climate change impacts, whilst serving as a policy framework for national GHG mitigation and long‐term adaptation.
