Plastic is used as the raw material process to extract fuel to run electricity generators, with many Syrians utilising this process for energy supply purposes. The process itself involves plastic filtered and distilled for 12 hours, with the end product a fluid resembling diesel fuel used to propel cars and tractors as well as fire up cooking stoves.
