The Somalia Emergency Drought and Resilience Project (SEDRP), established in 2017, aimed at strengthening rural food security and livelihoods resilience, whilst scaling up and strengthening interventions for famine prevention, drought response and resilience building. The project has contributed to Cash-for-work for immediate food needs and water infrastructure restoration (US$ 6.44 million), an emergency cash and agricultural livelihood support (US$9.66 million) fund, among others.
