The SURP is a national urban resilience project that aimed to pilot the use of country Public Financial Management (PFM) systems at the sub-National and strengthen municipal governments’ capacity. The project has supported the reconstruction of key urban infrastructure in targeted areas with people gaining access to all-season roads and travel time reduced, along with strengthening public service delivery capacity at the sub-national level.
