The FGS was established in 2012 and was built through national dialogue and consensus, aiming to reinforce efforts to develop long-term durable solutions aimed at building broad-based resilience and mitigation to disaster risks and climate change. DINA was implemented in 2017 as part of the FSG, targeting key interventions in improving agricultural productivity, increase irrigation facilities, developing livestock management, food security, diversifying livelihoods and employment opportunities, amongst others.
