Operationalised between 2017 to 2023, the project on food security and resilience in Somalia aimed at securitising and improving the livelihood of internally displaced persons and the local population in Kismayo. Direct measures were taken in water through the establishment of a water agency and through training courses in schools promote nutrition and hygiene practices. In addition, measures to raise incomes are aimed at providing better nutrition for the population.
