To help reduce the environmental and health impact by combining a strong business interest that Ampersand started marketing trials of electric motorcycles in Rwanda in 2018. The introduction of e-vehicles such as electric motorcycles emitted less CO2 than petrol motorcycles whilst being more accessible for transport users in terms of their cost, proving to be viable alternatives in the city of Kigali.
