The objective of the project was to mitigate flood damage in the selected core areas in Cagayan river basin, Tagoloan river basin and Imus river basin in the Philippines by implementing structural and non-structural measures against flood. The proposed measures contributed to climate change adaptation in the target areas, along with disaster risk education, feasibility studies, and capacity enhancement in several cities and frontline disaster agencies in the Philippines.
