The UN habitat partnered with Kogi state government to help improve the state's resilience to flooding and other climate-related hazards. As an agency that recognises the crucial role of cities in combating climate change, UN habitat supported the state government with resources including financing, and expert support to develop robust flood resilient strategies, whilst providing waste bins and public toilets aimed at making the State Capital clean.
