Caritas Nigeria launched this initiative aiming to train beneficiaries to reduce climate-related hazards caused by the traditional methods of cooking. The training, which was further trickled down to women in rural areas irrespective of their faith, unveiled and advocated for the effective use of rocks as cook-stoves, rather than the traditional wood and charcoal. The project was however challenged due limited funding opportunities and mobility challenges.
