The Federal Government of Nigeria implemented the multi-state and multi-sectoral State Employment Expenditure for Results (SEEFOR) Project in four Niger-Delta region states. This project aimed to tackle flood occurrences by ensuring proper waste management and improving drainages. The project would ensure the regular collection and disposal of refuse from approved dumpsite, improve overall hygiene levels and generate employment opportunities for local youths.
