The Federal Government of Nigeria received funds to implement the Second Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP-2). The goal of the project is to reduce erosion vulnerability by improving road surface stability and constructing embankments and slopes. Road maintenance activities will have highly beneficial impacts on the immediate communities by contributing to a more efficient road transportation system, reduce travel time, promote trade activities, reduce road accidents amongst other benefits.
