The Green Wall project aimed to tackle Nigeria's desertification challenges, through tree planting which prevents desert encroachment and improves environmental quality. To amplify the impact of this project, activities were extended to three communities in Bauchi State. Further positives involved the training local farmers in land restoration techniques, improved harvesting methods, how to commercialise farm produce and livestock improvement.
