This Solar energy system installed in a branch of Unity bank in Bauchi state by Daystar Power aimed to provide clean energy to the bank, which hitherto relied on diesel powered generators for electricity. The installation has resulted in the bank saving 20-30% in power costs, whilst shifting energy supply from diesel generators to environmentally-friendly solar hybrid solutions has reduced emissions by more than 360 metric tonnes.
