Owing to a collaboration between organisations, an environmental conservation resource centre was established through this project, aiming to promote community-led sustainable management of natural resources while improving and diversifying local livelihoods. The centre moved closer to achieving these goals through the construction of Green/Bamboo waste bins encouraging recycling and through a Green Campus/Urban Tree campaign, sensitising local communities on the importance of conservation techniques through silvicultural practices and management training.
