Owing to the Ero-Water Scheme Network implemented in 2019, the initiative fell under a commercial contiguous corridor between the communities of Ado-Ekiti. In order to address the economic disturbances that occurred, a resettlement plan implemented identified the affected persons, engaged them in participatory discussions regarding the plan and formulated a plan of action to adequately compensate people for their losses, improving livelihoods and standards of living as a result.
