For many years, poor sanitation and limited access to sustainable and safe water has been a critical issue undermining the health of Ado-Ekiti citizens. The government aimed to tackle this by rehabilitating state water supply schemes which included improving the functionality of the Ero treatment plant in Ado-Ekiti and associated booster stations. Some of the negative impacts of the project involved the loss of land for beneficiaries of the project.
