Owing to the efforts of the state in creating fertile ground for sustainable engagement with international initiatives and private sector renewable mini-grid investor developer, a 48 KW mini-grid solar facility was developed at Abdus-Salam Abubakar General hospital, Gulu Niger state. It was completed in 2015 and is currently under test operation awaiting commissioning.
