The Project consists of the development, construction and operation of a 55 MW solar PV power plant in Sokoto which benefits from an estimated irradiation of 2,694 kWh/m2/year. The main positive impact of the project is that it would address the critical energy shortages in Nigeria and provide a reliable source of energy to meet the huge demands, stabilise grid power supply and provide electricity access.
