Benue state government partnered with Solar World L'Afric to install solar traffic lights in many locations in Benue state, including Gboko in order to reduce traffic in the city. The project resulted in the installation of 42 solar units of street lights on Iorchia Ayu road, supervised and under observation to determine their functionality and efficiency.
