In response to the poor energy access in the state, Ogun state government brought together eight independent companies aiming to bring efficient and uninterrupted power supply in the state. These companies increased the state's renewable energy capacity by 286MW. Solar Power plants were constructed in many cities, with Ijebu Ode involved within the plans, and electricity will be generated from waste.
