Rubitec built the Gbamu Gbamu mini-grid, composed of more than 300 large solar panels on a compact plot of land, aiming to increase electricity and bolster energy security. This has provided reliable electricity to 2,500 people who live in the Ijebu-Ode area at an affordable price - no longer having to rely on polluting generators to run businesses or light homes thanks to the increase in solar mini-grids.
