The project relates to agreements of economic and sustainable development between France and Niger. It aimed to mobilize local stakeholders to implement a plan for the pastoral development of their territory through integrating improved governance, dialogue and sustainable management of pastoral resources. The project has achieved the demarcation of 1000 km2 of priority pastoral areas and 4000 km of strategic corridors, development of 312 water points, amongst other important milestones.
