The proposed project is intended to improve the energy and water efficiency of an agricultural plantation by installing a drip irrigation system and solar pump that substantially reduces the water and diesel. By replacing the current irrigation method with a drip irrigation system, water consumption is expected to be reduced by almost 70% and diesel consumption by almost 85%.
