The WFP and FAO implemented a project focused on strengthening smallholder farmers' resilience to the impacts of climate change through increased access to durable assets, knowledge, and climate information. They adopted a Forecast-based Financing model, enabling anticipatory actions for disaster mitigation at the community and government levels using seasonal and weather forecasts, contributing to better adaptation and response to climate change impacts in Tete.
