ProEnergia is a government initiative that aimed at universal access to affordable and quality energy for all Mozambicans by 2030. The Project focused on intensifying access to electricity for families and companies at the national level through grid expansion and densification, but acknowledged the role of off-grid, renewable energy-based solutions for reaching remote areas. Across Mozambique, over 112,000 new consumers were expected to benefit from this project.
