WASIS II is a project aimed at improving the performance, sustainability and coverage of water supply services in 11 cities in central and northern Mozambique, aiming to benefit at least 339,200 people. As part of WASIS II, the rehabilitation and construction of about 21 boreholes and the respective Pipelines, a complimentary water distribution infrastructure, and two new Distribution Centres to supply about 127,200 people were completed in Tete.
