Background

In the Marratane Camp of Nampula various types of stoves were circulated by the UNHCR, including clay/metal stoves, mud stoves, and kerosene stoves that had various efficiency and user acceptance rates. The primary lessons gained from this project is that stoves require greater consideration during their design period to be more durable and efficient for the populations they are intended for.
