Since 2010, AMOR (Mozambican Recycling Association) has been implementing an infrastructure network to receive and purchase recyclable materials called ‘eco-points’. These eco-points are places for collecting and purchasing recyclable material where everyone can bring its recyclable waste. To ensure independent management of the eco-points, AMOR trains organizations, neighbourhoods committees, micro-enterprises and other groups. There are a total of 23 eco points in Beira.
