KYA Energy Group, supplier of solar energy systems in West Africa completed the installation of six hybrid solar power plants in Mali. In order to address Mali's electricity rate which stood at 48% in 2019, the government focused on diversifying sources of electricity generation, giving priority to renewable energy. The hybrid solar systems will improve the power supply to six communities in the Sikasso and Ségou regions.
