The project aimed at finding ways to halt the rural exodus experienced in Sikasso through encouraging diversification of economic activities as well as improvement of health conditions and quality of life. The methods implemented involved the installation of solar clinics, the electrification of the schools for evening adult literacy classes and the installation panels in 3 villages for water pumping. Long-term viability will be ensured through funding-activities for social measures.
