The proposed project aimed at supporting the Government of Malawi to take steps to save lives and enhance livelihoods at risk from climate-related disasters. It will achieve this through addressing the technical, financial, capacity, and access barriers related to weather and climate information by investing in enhancing hydro-meteorological capacity for early warnings/forecasting, development and dissemination of tailored products for beneficiaries, whilst strengthening the response capacities of communities to climate-related disasters.
