Tanambao Verrerie's hybrid solar power plant in Toamasina was established with the aim of offering cheaper electricity, to electrify and connect all of Madagascar. The new solar park has a production capacity of 2MW and supplies sustainable energy to 3,000 homes in Toamasina. The project has further achieved providing access to 30,000 families through low-cost electricity, thus reducing energy costs through cleaner, renewable energy sources.
