A pilot project on agriculture and livestock was launched on the outskirts of Antsirabe called "titre vert". The aim of the project is also to improve employment on the long-term, with participants carefully selected based on their desire to work or change their lives in the fields of farming and animal husbandry. The state provided support through the provision of land, infrastructure to optimise production and training sessions.
