Bidco Africa has planted 5,000 Bamboo seedlings to help conserve the water tower and promote the use of Bamboo as a source of renewable energy. The Thika-based company targeted individual farmers, investment groups, saccos, and companies to invest in commercial bamboo farming. The initiative is beneficial for the environment due to rehabilitating the soil and being a clean energy source that reduces our carbon footprint.
