The overall objective for the programme was to increase access to improved sanitation and waste management services by urban poor communities living in Nakuru. The programme has contributed to increased improved access to and use of safe water and sanitation services and improved hygiene practices, the training of small producers and service providers and the strengthening of civil society actors to better respond to the needs of the communities.
