This project aimed to engage children in tree planting within their school grounds and educate them of the local and global importance of trees and forests. The project worked with children in Nakuru County helping them to plant 10,000 trees, bringing many benefits to local ecosystems and biodiversity in the process. A further benefit has been the training of 5,000 children through environmental education and tree planting.
