The ministry of municipalities and works approved the establishment of a heavy water treatment unit in the city of Amarah with a capacity to serve 350 thousand people or 4000 m3 per hour. This project was operationalised to address the growing needs of the population of the city of Amarah, to treat water sources and to reduce pollution.
