Integrated Polyculture Plantation was carried out by respondent farmers through cultivating a variety of crops. The initiative has minimized incidents of erosion in high slope soils while strengthening the terracing function, providing a deep of root system, increasing soil pore capacity to reduce flooding, and increasing water availability. With regard to climate change mitigation, Integrated Polyculture Plantation increased the use of organic materials to reduce pollutants and enhance biodiversity.
