The project concerns Greenpeace India's efforts calling on the government to make urgent improvements to the National Air Quality Index (NAQI). Greenpeace has pointed out severe limitations to the Index: it is limited in its scope, lacks transparency whilst it is not designed to make Air Quality data widely accessible to citizens. Clean Air Nation is thus an initiative to show people’s power of reclaiming their right to clean air.
