The solar power project implemented at the Mahatma Gandhi University formed part of the environmentally-friendly initiatives spearheaded by the University. With an estimated output of 400 kWp, the rooftop solar plant is estimated to produce 1660-1800 unit electricity daily at the campus. The scope of work also requires that the developers be responsive to the successful operation and maintenance of the plant until March 31, 2024.
