Background

The Integrated knowledge network was built to aid adaptation and build resilience towards climate change. The project created a data bank and knowledge repository for storing and retrieving climate change information circulated to various stakeholders, including ways to assess the risks and vulnerabilities to climate change from various sectors. To aid these efforts, the ICCS initiated a training programme to equip teachers and functionaries of local bodies in building resilience.
