The project involved the installation of three e-toilets in three locations in the municipality. One of the toilets was funded under the municipality’s budget and two others were expected to be funded under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme. It represented an innovation on toilets in public places and suitable for urban local bodies, urbanized panchayats, and tourist locations.
