The project involved the installation of 32 MW wind energy generators with active private participation. ANERT has further installed 137 wind water pumps in various parts of Kerala. The initiative was found to be more beneficial to higher energy-consuming households and were availed mostly by the beneficiaries who have a good educational background. Overall, clear that renewable energy has lot of scope for the purpose of energy conservation.
